What in the be-bop-a-lu-la is going on in our federal government and the Obama administration? I’m beginning to feel like I’m living in the former Soviet Union. This is truly frightening.

Democrats have been haranguing republicans, for years, for not clocking in on their bogus theory of global warming. Crazy man Al Gore has won a Pulitzer and gotten rich preaching on the subject. Well, guess what. It has now been reported that in Chicago, July 2009 was the “second coldest in history.” THE SECOND COLDEST IN HISTORY?!!! How did democrats get it so wrong? Were the global warming diatribes just another attempt to gain more democratic control of government?

The average temperature for July 2009 was 77.8 degrees–far off the average of mid-80s for that time of year. The coldest July ever was in 1967 when the average temperature was 76.5 degrees.

Another rarity for July 2009 in Chicago: Temperatures failed to reach 90 degrees at any time. Two days had highs only in the mid-60s.

I’ll have more for you on the following subject, but let me just inform you now, if you don’t already know:

Your local friendly bank charges you $35 for each overdraft
you make. The cost to the bank for processing it is less than
a dollar. Why does our federal government allow such highway
robbery?

Local bank officials are complicit in this un-Godly practice, though they will not admit to it. Charles Davis, of First Citizens, in Kinston, North Carolina, hung up on me when I criticized the bank for thriving on the poor of America, by charging such gratuitous, outrageous overdraft fees. He was very rude, arrogant, and dismissive. He constantly interrupted me throughout the conversation. I took him off my prayer list and my Christmas card list. He is now on my s--- list.

If you are a black man or a black woman, will you please write to me and tell what the Democratic Party has done for you to maintain your allegiance to it, oh, so many years? If you will take a few moments of your time to read about black civil rights legislation, you will find that most of it was spearheaded by those dastardly republicans, for whom you hold so much in contempt.

I spoke with a lady (who prefers to remain anonymous) in the hospice care industry, this week. She told me of her aunt, in her 80’s, who lived in Canada and had severe diabetes. She informed me that her aunt was “put in a hospital-attached home and left to die…because the government runs the healthcare system”. She further confided that her aunt received “no care” and “no pain medicine!…If she’d been in the United States, they (doctors) would have removed one leg; and if necessary, they would have removed the second leg…They would have done everything possible to keep her alive.”

Any entity, the survival of which, is not affected by the service it provides, will never provide great service. Any person, whose job security is not dependent upon courtesy towards its clients and great service to its clients, will never provide the best service, with courtesy, for its clients.

This is not your father’s America.
