WEASELS AND WEASEL WORDS

I'm tired of being pushed around by politicians, bureaucrats, and corporations. In other words, weasels. And weasel words. So, after overdrafting, by mistake, my mother's bank account (she's 82, has cancer, and I'm her 24-hour-round-the-clock caregiver), I complained about the $459 in overdraft fees on $79 of debit card purchases. I called Liz Dixon at the Pink Hill, North Carolina branch, where my mom and dad opened the account, in 1982. I left a message on her voice mail about three times---never threatening, never rude, just frustrated---keeping her updated on the affects of the fees, such as having our cable suspended at 2am Saturday morning, and so on.

You see, I know that the cost of processing an overdraft is less than a dollar. They don't like it when I tell them so and they like it even less when I complain about it. They refuse to even admit to the fact that they are robbing us blind with these ridiculously over-priced fees.

When I informed Charles Davis, weasel first-class, of First Citizens Bank security, of the fact that banks often call personal friends and businesses to alert them that they need to come in and make a bank deposit to avoid overdraft fees, Davis gave some mumbo-jumbo reason for doing so. I thought the arrogant twit would choke on weasel words as they gushed forth from his loud motor mouth. I suggested that the practice is discriminatory. Oh, did I hit a nerve! The dip-wad hung up on me, but not before telling me that he was going to shut down my 82-year-old mother's 27-year-old bank account!!! All because I made repeated complaints about unjust, un-Godly, unaffordable overdraft fees.

By the way, just because banks have traditionally charged exorbitant fees for overdrafts, the tradition does not make the practice fair and just. Slavery has been a tradition in many countries throughout history and yet that traditon does not diminish the inhumanity and injustice of slavery.

My friends, we live in a world governed by corrupt, greedy, power-hungry, unscrupulous lawyers, politicians, and businessmen--weasels! They suck the life out of the rest of us who struggle to survive. While we're working two and three jobs to make ends meet, taxed to death and charged overdraft fees that amount to billions of dollars annually, these pin-heads are drinking cocktails, chasing skirts, and living the high life.

Call your Senators and complain. Twitter Glenn Beck and tell him you're fed up. Maybe he'll try to change things. He's the ONLY one in media who's trying to initiate change in government. The "watchdog" who tweeted Beck about the government's attempt to claim ownership of one's computer, if one logged into the "Cash For Clunkers" website (last week of July 2009), is responsible for the government, over the weekend, removing the Privacy Act statement that made the afforementioned assertion.

We can do the same about unfair, assinine overdraft fees, and other injustices. If we go to every place politicians go (town meetings and such) and voice our complaints, we can change the way the government is run. Already, though, some of these jerk-water idiots are refusing to allow questions at public meetings. Does the word Russia come to mind as you read this.

We mustn't put it off. Every powerful nation in history has fallen, eventually, because its countrymen were complacent and uninvolved as self-proclaimed messiahs--elitists--grew to believe they were the only ones smart enough the save the country--and the world. We're too stupid to know what's best for us, so they pat us on our heads and tell us to go on our way, while they take care of business at hand.

It's sickens the spirit to know that two of the biggest nerds who ever walked God's green earth, Nancy "Chihuahua" Pelosi and Harry "Mr. Excitement" Reid, are leading our government. Don't misunderstand me; I like nerds: the ones with a personality, a sense of humor, and a brain.

Most of our government officials are weasels; and they are masters of the weasel word. A weasel word is a word used to avoid stating something forthrightly or directly; a word that makes one's views misleading or confusing. Obama is a master of the weasel word. He uses them to the point of overkill.

That's what's going on with Obama now; in a weasely way, he's creating a shadow government of Czars (44, so far), answerable to him only, to create a new American government that he and his group of radical Socialists (and at least one self-proclaimed Communist) will rule someday, if we don't stop them first. Even democratic Sen. Robert Byrd has expressed his displeasure and concern over Obama's queer appointing of Czars. God bless them. Historically, in Russia, Czars have usually wound up dead at the hands of its countrymen. So, all you creepy, spooky, secretive, little Czars--be nice, or you may be gone--someday! Americans have always had a low threshold of weasels.

There was a tea party last weekend (August 1st or 2nd, protesting Obama's proposed healthcare plan. Police reported that the gathering numbered as high as 3,000 people. The all-knowing, all-seeing, head-up-Obama's a-- media reported that only 200people showed up for the rally. How do these worm-infested media people live with themselves? Are these weasels never overwhelmed with the stench of their own hypocrisy?

America's saving grace is that the natual instincts of its people---the common man and common woman---are superior to the worldly wisdom of the city slickers---those weasels, with their weasel words. We must, however, assert ourselves and disallow the weasels to take over the hen house.
